All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ George Williamson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 25, 1986 LAKE PROVIDENCE-George Williamson, 72, died Sunday in Lake Providence after a short illness. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Fred Hale officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Williamson was a native of Kilbourne and a resident of East Carroll Parish for the past 34 years. He was also a retired heavy equipment operator and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife. Margaret Williamson of Lake Providence: one son, Lonnie George Williamson of Tallulah; one sister, Mrs. Florence Walker of Oak Grove: one nephew, Herschel Ames of Corning. Calif.; and three grandchildren. Pallbearer's were Cordes Williamson. Ralph Coleman, Jerry Arledge, C. L. Keene, Wilfred McCarty, and Tommy Condrey.
