Willie L. “Cowboy” Williams died Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. He was 57.

Mr. Williams was born in Delta. He was a 1971 graduate of Thomastown High School.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie L. Williams; his father, Willie E. McGee; and great-grandparents, Sam and Corean Brantley.

Survivors include his sons, Z’Mark Garner of Vicksburg and Roderick Garner of Tallulah; sisters, Bessie Ennis of Kansas City, Dr. Ernestine Madison of Jackson, Desser Anderson of Seattle, Corine Holmes, Rosa Ennis, Patricia Washington, Geri Grady, Debra Wince, Theresa Reed, Barbara Reed, Jennifer Palmer, all of Vicksburg; brothers, Percy Ennis of Kansas City, Alvin Wilson, Cameron, Mo., Martin Reed of Monroe, La., Ricky McGee and Donnell McGee, both of Seattle, Milton McGee and Raymond Reed, both of Vicksburg; his stepmother, Christine Reed of Vicksburg; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at noon Monday at Travelers Rest Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church until the service. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Funerals by McFarland of Delhi. Repast will follow at the church fellowship hall.
