Wilson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 8, 1983 Services for Mrs. Bernice C. Wilson, 72, were at 4:30 Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Xxxx Thornton officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Wilson died Saturday at her residence in Waverly after an illness. She was a native of Alma, Ark. a resident dent of Madison Parish for xx years and a member of Waverly Baptist Church. Survivors include one brother, Yuell R. Chaffin of Houston ; three sisters, Mrs. Doris Gregory of Alma, Ark., Mrs. Betty Gregory of Lemore, Calif., and Mrs. Ida Bell Kennedy of Mt. Vernon, Mo. Pallbearers were Neville Allen, Michael Porter, Davis Ray Neathery, Thomas Murray, Claude Williams and Jerry Cummins.
