Emmett R. Wilson - Madison Parish, Louisiana

Funeral services for Emmett R. Wilson of Tallulah were held at 10 Wednesday in Crothers Funeral 
Chapel with the Rev. W. H. ----- officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery 

Mr. Wilson died Tuesday in the Confederate Memorial Hospital in Shreveport after a long illness.

He was a native of Clinton, Miss. and a resident of Madison Parish for 53 years. He was involved 
in public works and was a steel worker.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Mable Wilson of Tallulah; one brother, William W. Wilson of Delhi; 
three sisters, Mrs. James Parker of Tallulah, Mrs. R. L. Mayberry, Mrs. Sanford Parker, both of 
Sondheimer; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
