Wilson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 28, 1975 Funeral services for Emmett R. Wilson of Tallulah were held at 10 Wednesday in Crothers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W. H. ----- officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery Mr. Wilson died Tuesday in the Confederate Memorial Hospital in Shreveport after a long illness. He was a native of Clinton, Miss. and a resident of Madison Parish for 53 years. He was involved in public works and was a steel worker. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Mable Wilson of Tallulah; one brother, William W. Wilson of Delhi; three sisters, Mrs. James Parker of Tallulah, Mrs. R. L. Mayberry, Mrs. Sanford Parker, both of Sondheimer; and a number of nieces and nephews. Nephews served as pallbearers.
