(Bilbo) Wilson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home July 17, 2014 November 27, 1934 - July 12, 2014 Funeral services for Mr. Frank M. (Bilbo) Wilson, Jr., 79, will be held Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with Bro. John Rushing officiating, assisted by Bro. Jason McGuffie. Visitation will be Monday, July 14, 2014 from 1:30-2:30 p.m., with services immediately following. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mr. Wilson went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Madison Parish Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mr. Wilson served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Reserves. he attended ULM and LSU. he owned Madison Pawn Shop in Tallulah for 27 years. Mr. Wilson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah, where he served as a Sunday School teacher and deacon for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank M. Wilson, Sr. and Vera W. Kirksey. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Keyes Wilson; sons, Paul Wilson and Greg Wilson of Tallulah; grandson, Sean Wilson of Lafayette, LA; step-father, Grover Kirksey (Paulene), Hot Springs, AR; brothers, Jimmy Wilson (Nan), Texarkana, TX and Grover Kirksey, Jr. (Elaine), Hot Springs, AR; sisters, Marilyn Wilborn (Tommy), Wichita Falls, TX; Tolen Thomas (Arthur), Selma, AL; sister-in-law, Bobbye Pryor Keyes, West Monroe; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Lloyd T. Erwin, Jodie Edleston, Ray Jobe, James Still, Bob Moseley, and Anthony Moore. Honorary pallbearer will be William Givens. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Leonard Neumann for all the years of care provided to Mr. Wilson, the nurses and staff at Madison Parish Hospital, Hancock Home Health and Hometown Medical.
