Jerry Wayne "Big'Un" Wilson of Tallulah, LA passed away on June 13, 2025. He was born on March 30, 1946, in Tallulah, LA. He was a devoted husband to Susie Wixson Wilson, and a loving father to Angie Deckelman Rogan; and Leigh Deckelman Trichell and Don. He loved his grandchildren Will Rogan and Kristin; Kole Trichell and Kali; Hunter Rogan; Bailey Trichell Ward and Elijah; Abby Trichell and Austin; and great-grandchildren Wixson Ward and Ellarie Trichell. He is survived by his brother, Billy Ray Wilson, and sister-in-law, Mickie DeMoss; and a longtime friend, Eugene Whitney and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Herman and Julia Wilson; his sister, Faye Wilson Starnes; and son-in-law, Lloyd Rogan, Jr. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah as well as being a member of the Madison/Richland Gideon Camp.

His years spent at Tallulah High School and LA Tech University helped define his interest in football, having played with Terry Bradshaw and Phil Robertson. He spent a number of years working as an Allstate Agent and owner of an independent insurance agency.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 16, 2025, at Tallulah First Baptist Church with Rev. Jay Parker officiating. Visitation will be held at 10 am and the service at 11 am. A family burial service will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah.

To honor his memory, the family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First Baptist Church, Tallulah or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
