Wilson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 8, 1995 Services for Wallace G. Wilson were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Wheelock Baptist Church in Wheelock, Texas, with the Rev. Dale Wells officiating. Burial followed at the Alexander Cemetery in Wheelock with Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah in charge. Visitation was at the church in Texas. Mr. Wilson died Thursday, Nov. 2, 1995, at Ridgeland Parish Hospital in Delhi, La. He was 81. He was a retired farm manager and lived in Madison Parish for 40 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War IL He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Virginia McNair Wilson of Tallulah; one son, Lane Wilson of Tallulah; two daughters, Sherion Merritt and Sue Kirk, both of Tallulah; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and three sisters, Nora Scasta and Anna Scasta, both of Wheelock, and Mary Scasta of College Station, Texas.
