Mr. William Henry Wilson, age 88, of Vancleave, MS., died Thursday, November 10, 2011, in Biloxi, MS. Mr. Wilson was a resident of Vancleave since 1984. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Philipine Liberation, 368th Harbor Craft Company. He was a longtime businessman and owner of the Pan Am Services, Inc. in Laurel, MS. and worked part-time with MDOT as a bridge tender until 2002. Mr. Wilson was an avid fisherman and sportsman and a devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ekes Wilson, son, Kelly Otis Wilson, brother, Charles Edward Wilson and parents, Homer William Wilson and Effie Cagle Wilson. Survivors include a son, William Collier Wilson of Vancleave, MS., two sisters, Ramona Nolan Scott of Tallulah, LA., and Martha Jean Jolly of Columbia, LA. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 12, 2011, from 12 noon until 2 pm, with a 2 pm Memorial Service, all at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
