All rights reserved. ************************************************ Harris Wise - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post January 9, 2012 TALLULAH — Harris Wise died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Madison Parish Hospital. He was 82. Born in Hico, La., he had lived in Madison Parish for more than 47 years. He was a farmer and a Marine Corps veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was a Shriner and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 308 and First United Methodist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Wasson Wise of Tallulah; one son, Neil Wise of Tallulah; one daughter, Brenda Folk of West Monroe; a sister, Nona Michaud of Bossier City, La.; and six grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Reid officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the service. Pallbearers will be Randy Lisonbee, Trey Folk, Sebe Wise, Scott Folk, Ryman Busy and Will Folk. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.
