All rights reserved. ************************************************ Bertha Bauer Witherow - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Madison Journal, December 23, 1932 NATIVE OF MADISON BURIED LAST WEEK Mrs. Bertha Bauer Witherow who was born at Millikens Bend and spent her girlhood in Madison Parish was buried in New Orleans Saturday. She died at Waggaman, Louisiana, from a heart attack (December 16, 1932.) Mrs. Witherow was 75 years old. The deceased has a sister, Mrs. Joseph B. Witherow, living in Tallulah. Following her marriage at an early age, Mrs. Witherow moved from the parish. Her last visit to Tallulah was 10 years ago. Mrs. Witherow was a widow of James Witherow, Sr., mother of Mrs. E. E. Lamberton of New Orleans, Mrs. V. B. Richard of Jennings, James Witherow of Galveston, Texas, and Milton G. Witherow of St. Louis, Mo.
