June Carolyn Womack, 76, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009, at a local care center.


Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery.


June was born June 22, 1932, in Tallulah, La., and had resided in Fort Worth since 1955. She was a homemaker and a member of Midway Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, granny and sister.


She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Womack, and seven brothers and sisters.


Survivors: Brother, Jerry Gilbert of Amarillo; sister, Juanita Scherer of North Richland Hills; children, Linda Campbell and husband, Arthur, of Fort Worth, Saundra Hudman and husband, Clyde, of Mount Enterprise, Barbara Martin and husband, Joel, of Fort Worth, Janice Woodward of Fort Worth, John Womack and wife, Barbara, of Benbrook, Marty Womack and wife, Debbie, of Granbury and Shirley Tebay of Haltom City; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
