Born June 4, 1932, he was a retired truck driver of 20 years. Woody passed Wednesday morning at his home under the care of Hospice Patients Care Services after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Woodall; and his mother, Lucille Marie Deckard Gilbert. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ann Woodall; companion pets, Butterbean and Pickles; sons, Ernie Woodall, Bobby Woodall and Adam Woodall, all of San Antonio, Texas, and James Richard Brewer of Tallulah; daughters, Sylvia McKeon and Ester Lingren, both of San Antonio, Teresa Jean Gibbs and April Bedgood, both of Tallulah, and Jennifer Berry of West Monroe, La.; sisters, Ruth C. Brantley of Downsville, La., Dorothy Gilbert of Baton Rouge and Peggy Sue Gilbert of Springfield, Mo.; 28 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
