All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Bernice McNeely Woodard - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 3, 1996 Bernice McNeely Woodard died Friday, Dec. 29, 1995, at the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. She was 91. The daughter of John and Olive McNeely, she was a native of Colfax, La. Mrs. Woodard was a longtime resident of Arcadia and recently of Tallulah. She was a member of the First Unit-ed Methodist Church of Arcadia. Mrs. Woodard was a graduate of Louisiana State University. She was preceded in death by her husband, former senator Marshall E. Woodard of Arcadia. Mrs. Woodard is survived by one daughter, Betty Woodard Evans of Tallulah; two grandsons, Marshall Sevier and Mike Sevier, both of Tallulah; one granddaughter, Nancy Sevier Monie of Shreveport; one great granddaughter, Melissa McKay of Shreveport; and six great-greatgrandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with Lillard Bevill, pastor, officiating. Graveside services were held at Arcadia Cemetery in Arcadia. Pallbearers were Andy Sevier, Warren Sevier, Chris Sevier, Spencer Sevier, Bill Paxton, Albert Paxton and Dusty Butler. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist churches of Arcadia or Tallulah.
