All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Maxine Wood - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 27, 1973 Mrs. Maxine Wood Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Parkview Baptist Church for Mrs. Maxine Wood, 53, who died Saturday. Services were conducted by the Rev. Messer and burial was in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Wood was a native of Bienville Parish and had lived in Tallulah for several years. She was employed by the Madison Parish School Board and was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She is survived by her widower, James Wood of Tallulah; two sons, Jimmy Wood of Waterproof and Don Wood of West Monroe; four brothers, xxxx Strother of Cullen, La., Frank Strother of Hope, Ark., Felix Strother of Shreveport and Doyle Strother of Ark.: a sister Mrs. J. C. Kirkland (others.)
