All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Nellie Woods - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 8, 1983 Services for Mrs. Nellie Woods, 76, were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with Revs. Ebbie McGee and Carl Xxxxxxs officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Woods died Sunday at Xxxxxd Regional Medical Hospital in West Monroe after an illness. Mrs. Woods was a native of Waterproof and had been a Parish resident for 63 years. She was a housewife and a member of Mound Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Ralph Reed of Tallulah, William L. Woods Jr. of Shreveport and Robert L. Woods of Eagle Lake, Miss.; a stepson, Willis M. Woods of Livingston, Texas; two daughters, Elizabeth Reed of Shreveport and Josephine Kinard of Monroe; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert Craft, Kenneth Busby, Ray Case, Leon Secrest, Arthur West and Mike Mattern.
