Worley - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 30, 1988 Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Worley, 61, of Delta, were held Wednesday, Nov. 23 at the Mound Baptist Church with Rev. Ebie McGee and Rev. Herman Savoie officiating. Burial was in the Green Acres Memorial Park in Vicksburg under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Worley died Monday, Nov. 21 at her residence in Delta after a short illness. She was a native of Moro, Ark and had been a resident of Delta for the past 23 years. She was a homemaker and a member an( secretary of the Mound Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Marvin B. Worley of Delta; one son, Lonnie Worley of Huron, Ohio; four daughters, Carolyn Stansell of Pineville, Linda Clapton of Wesson, Ms., Christine Shows of Dallas and Debbie Smith of Delta; four brothers, Alvie Herndon of Moro, Ark., Johnnie Herndon of Hunter, Ark., Lester Herndon and Ralph Herndon, both of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Loretta Broglin of Immoklee, Fla.; 14 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Mike Copton, Joseph Stansell, Wayne Smith, Ray Case, Joe Moak and Bo Edleston. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Busby, Leon Secrest, Dewayne Shaw, Thurmond Busby, Roger Arnold and Jeff Hicks.
