All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Lawrence Yerger - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Madison Journal July 12, 1935 LAWRENCE YERGER DIES THURSDAY IN HOME AT MOUND Mr. Lawrence Yerger, 62, died in his home at Mound Thursday night, July 4, about 9 o'clock. Mr. Yerger had resided in Madison for a number of years, where he was connected with the George S. Yerger interests. Mr. Yerger was the son of the late Judge James R. Yerger and the grandson of the late Judge William Yerger, both of Jackson, Mississippi. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie Bell Yerger and a daughter, Miss Helen Yerger both of Mound; two brothers, Fred Yerger of Jackson, Miss., and James R. Yerger; a sister, Mrs. Robert Mayes of Jackson, Miss. Interment was made Saturday in the family cemetery in Jackson.
