YOUNG WILL BE BURIED TODAY AT TALLULAH, LA. Funeral Services Set For This Afternoon At 3 O'clock TALLULAH, La., March 11 - Funeral services for Mrs. Lorraine Harris Young will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock, with the Rev. Clarence Crow, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Pallbearers will be R. C. Gaines, A. L. Scales, G. L. Smith, Will Adams, G. L. Garrison and Lionel Naylor. Mrs. Young who was 34 years of age, died at her home late Friday as a result of a bullet wound which was said by Madison parish officers to have been self inflicted. Mrs. Young, according to officers who investigated the shooting, had been in ill health for some time and apparently became despondent. Her body was discovered by neighbors shortly before 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon. At an inquest held this morning by Dr. H. C. Sevier, coroner, Mrs. Young's death was pronounced a suicide. She was the wife of M. T. Young, who is employed by the government experiment station here. She was the daughter of T. R. Harris of Tallulah. Surviving, besides her husband, are one son, Beverly Stone Young and infant daughter, Alice Lorraine Young, her father, two brothers, James Harris of Monroe, La., and Leo Harris, of Houston, Tex.
