L STEVENS ERECTING CLINIC FOR TALLULAH Brick Veneer Building to be Completed About Dec. 15th Madison Journal November 13, 1931 "Dr. Stevens Clinic" is a new enterprise for Tallulah and the first of its kind in this parish. It is under construction here on the corner of Dabney and Walnut streets. The brick veneer building and equipment will be the individual property of Dr. L. Stevens and will cost approximately $8000. The clinic will be completed about December 15th and will be provided with an operating room, x-ray room, examining room, reception room and five bed rooms. Dr. S. J. Lombardo will have charge of the dental work and Dr. Guy P. Sanderson of Vicksburg will be the consulting surgeon. A nurse and technician will be employed. Dr. Stevens, who was formerly of Morton, Miss., came to Tallulah two years ago. The lot on which the building is being constructed is just behind the Dermott Grocery Company building. Already the structure has been framed and work has been started on the brick work.
