The beautiful and spacious home was handsomely decorated with graceful water lilies and bamboo. At ten o'clock the bride, a dainty little blonde attired in white hand embroidered lingerie and carrying a mother of pearl fan, appeared with the groom at the head of the handsome staircase and made an attractive tableau while the wedding party was arranged. There as the soft strains of Mendelssohn’s wedding march floated to them, Mr. and Mrs. W. Bray led the way down the vine entwined stairway, they were followed by Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel W. Thomas. After these came the bride and groom. At the foot of the stairs the party turned and entered the parlor, here was placed an altar, a perfect bower of water lilies. Here they were awaited by Rev. Mr. Johne of Trinity church, Vicksburg. As the solemn vows were taken the "Spring Song" was beautifully rendered by Mr. Scott S. Fay, of Cabin Teele plantation. The guests approached and congratulated the happy couple, then, wending their way to the spacious white dining room, where, amid a bowl of nasturraniums, they were served with champagne and claret punch. The punch bowls were presided over by Misses Margaret Preston and Margaret Wilkins. While the guests were signing the guest book and admiring the most handsome presents in the downstairs sitting room, the wily couple stole a march on them by going down the back stairway, entering a car and driving away without any rice or shoes. They were driven to Delta by Mr. Thompson where they crossed on the ferry, took in the National Park just reaching the train in time to escape Mr. Chester Yerger with a bag of rice. They went to Hot Springs where they will spend two weeks before taking rooms at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George S. Yerger of Mound, La., As the guests departed, they were presented with large beautiful white water lilies. Among those present were Mesdames Will Spann, Will Craig, Dr. Ogborn, Burn, Utz, Agee, W.
