F. Ward residence. Altho it was a quiet affair, having only a small group of friends present, it was beautiful in its solemnity. The home was artitically decorated with a profusion of Sweet Peas and Fern. The Bride who was unusually pretty in an ensemble suit, the dress of Alice blue, finely tucked Crepe De Chine and the coat of midnight blue satin with small black hat and accessories to match, came in upon the arm of her brother, Mr. George Dolar, of Chicago. The Groom came in with Mr. James Johnson, who acted as his best man. The Rev. Mr. Kimberlin of the Baptist Church performed the ceremony. After the ceremony, cake and punch were served the guests. The punch table was beautifully decorated and banked with sweet peas and fern. It was presided over by Mrs. John Cox. The bride, who is from Marion, Ky., has made her home in Tallulah, for the past three years as teacher of music in the high school, and has won for herself a host of friends by her charming personality. Mr. Gaines has long been connected with the Delta Laboratory, and occupies a position of trust and esteem in the community. They left for a wedding trip to New Orleans and points on the Gulf Coast, and will be at home at the Ward residence after June 10th.
