W. Sevier brother of the bride, in Madison parish, La., on Wednesday, June 6th, 1894, Miss Ophelia Sevier, of Kosciusko, Miss., to Mr. Albert Nicols, of Point Coupee parish, La., Rev. J. F. Foster officiating, The bride is one of Mississippi's fairest daughters, and a young lady of superior accomplishments. During her visit for several monthspast in our parish she has won a large circle of friends who extend their best wishes for a long and happy future. Mr. Nicols is a young man of sterling worth, and has a host of friends in this parish, where he formerly resided, who will rejoice to learn of his good fortune in winning so charming a bride and offer their heartiest congratulations. Immediately after the ceremony, the happy couple departed for Jackson, Miss;, to spend a few days with relatives. From there they go to Latauche, Point Coupee parish, their future home. The Journal extends best wishes and congratulations.
