All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Sevier-Brooks Wedding - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post April 1918 News was received in Tallulah last week of the marriage(4/20/1918)in Shreveport of Miss Retta Brooks and Lieutenant Henry C. Sevier, both of Tallulah. Miss Brooks was, at the time, visiting in Shreveport, and Lieut. Sevier being stationed at Camp Beauregard Lieut. Sevier obtained a leave of absence, and went to Shreveport and the marriage was celebrated, all to the surprise of their many friends here. We understand that they are at present at Camp Beauregard, and that Mrs. Sevier will remain with her husband for some time.
