Peterson, Eleanor
A resident of Amite passed away at 6:20 AM on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. She was born February 10, 1945 in Magnolia, MS and was 72 years of age. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Melvin Peterson; daughters, Monta Graves and husband, Dane, and Rachael Peterson; grandchildren, Jessica Millet and husband, Brandon, Daniel Graves and wife, Roxanna, Dustin Graves, Brandi Guttuso and husband, Frankie, Brittany Frierson and husband, David, Cody Hoover and Justin Blades; brother, Charles “Neil” Currier and sister, Madeline McElveen. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Fredia Birch; son, Clyde Blades and her brother, Woody Hodges. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 PM until 9 PM Tuesday and from 8 AM until religious services at 11 AM Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Services conducted by Rev. Hill and Rev. Tullis. Interment Alford Cemetery, Kentwood.
