A native of Hester and a resident of Lutcher, he died at 1:08 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2007, at River Parishes Hospital in LaPlace. He was 61. Visiting at First Community Antioch Baptist Church, Lutcher, on Saturday, May 19, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Ferdinand Gaines Jr. Interment in the church cemetery. Survived by four sisters, Laddie Mason, Nettie Kirklin, Betty Griffin and Jeanette Benn; four brothers, Eddie, Jackie, Lawrence Sr. and James Robertson; three brothers-in-law, Fred Kirklin, Ronnie Griffin Sr. and Larry Benn; four sisters-in-law, Claudia, Elka, Devaka and Phyllis Robertson; numerous nieces, including Pamela Tureaud, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
