On Sunday evening, death took away from the affections of her friends and relatives, a worthy woman. Mrs. François Savoie, born Azélie Périlloux, succumbed to an illness of exhaustion at the age of about 58. Madame Savoie had known the beautiful sides and the painful reverses of life, but she had always remained the same, accepting with resignation the decrees of a capricious fate.
Last Monday, a reverent crowd followed the remains of the deceased to the place of eternal rest.
