Jean was very athletic, a fierce competitor, excelled in various different sports, and exhibited true sportsmanship. She was inducted into the Commerce Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1989. Austin was a graduate of Brother Martin High School, Class of 2000, and Jacksonville State University. He was employed by Shell Oil Company. He was the beloved father of Aubrey Stein and Gavin Stein, and former husband of Andre Ranson Stein. He was the cherished son of Kevin and Linda Maurin Stein and brother of Evin Stein (Ali). Austin was the uncle of Boston Stein, and the grandson of Fern Stein, and the late Alvin Stein, J.D. Maurin, Sr., and Gladys "Audrey" Vicknair Maurin. Terry Lee Strayer, age 57, was the son of the late William Strayer and Hilda Leary Strayer. He is preceded by his brothers Bill Strayer, Johnnie Strayer and Garry Strayer. Terry worked for St. John Theatre, Baileys Andouille, and was a care giver for several years. Terry was a caring man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a loyal friend to many. He enjoyed wood work and attending sporting events. Terry will be remembered for his kindness and loyalty towards his friends. Leonie Joseph St. Germain, Jr. passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the age of 88. He was a native of Napoleonville, LA and resident of Montz, LA. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne Marie Martin St. Germain. Loving father of Edward Paul St. Germain (Dawn), Bruce Joseph St. Germain (Cindy) and Iris Ann St. Germain Hall (David). Grandfather of Sandy St. Germain Seymour (Daniel), Dwayne Paul St. Germain (Alexandra), Amie St. Germain Parra (Michael), Adam Joseph St. Germain (Alyson), Desiré Trent Richoux (John) and Misty Trent Harlow. Son of the late Esma Thibodaux and Leonie Joseph St Germain Sr. Brother of the late Roland St. Germain, Charles St. Germain, Ridley St. Germain, Leroy St. Germain and Lucille St. Germain. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Tommy St Martin and Ronnie Lambert for their companionship over the last few years.

Dayna Oubre Sullivan, a native of Garyville and former resident of LaPlace, passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 80. She is survived by her sister, Melanie Oubre; her brother, Stephen Oubre (Alice); her nephews, Michael Oubre (Sara), Philip Oubre (Lara), and Robert Oubre (Kara); and eight great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Sullivan, and her parents, Leroy and Julia Guidry Oubre. The family would like to thank the staff of Azalea Estates of Gonzales for their loving care and attention during the years Dayna resided there.
