Harrisonburg, Catahoula Parish, LA. A family cemetery in the hills at Little Creek Bottom (Rawson Creek area) between Harrisonburg and Enterprise, Louisiana. The cemetery is very old no recent upkeep. A rusted fence remains that now keeps out cattle that once broke some of the tombstones. There are eighteen known graves with only six tombstones remaining. The unmarked graves were identified by Doretta Boothe (family researcher) & nephew Wayne Boothe.
The Ellis & Jincy Boothe Family cemetery is one of three Boothe cemeteries in Catahoula Parish. The other two are William Boothe aka Old Joe Boothe (meaning Joseph C Boothe), and Joe Boothe (meaning Joseph Daniel Boothe).
