After a long illness, Mr. Randolph Roger, a native of this town,
died last Monday morning and his body was buried the same
evening in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery. The deceased was a son of the late Adrien
Roger. He was married, his wife having
been a Miss Boudreaux, to whom he was wedded upon her death bed to. The deceased is survived by his
mother and several
brothers and and [sic] sisters, to whom we extend our sympathy.
Our congratulations are extended to Mr. Chas.
N. Dupre, the publisher of the Commercial Journal, upon the fact that he had
become the father of twins - two fine boys. We hope that the boys
will become as famous and influential as our new President.

to every person, who in any manner assisted during the sickness,
death and burial of the head of their family - Mr. H. W. Frost. This Christian

4, 1912, at 3:10 p.m. Harriet S. Daunis, beloved wife of Anthony H. Stier, a native of this city. - Tuesday's

We learn that Mr. W. Y Roundtree, of Thibodaux, has just bought half of the farm of his father, Mr. Sam Roundtree, located about one mile below Thibodaux, on the road leading to Schriever.
Mr. and Mrs. Willie LeBlanc, who reside at Ellendale, in Terrebonne parish, had the
misfortune last Sunday of losing their baby
daughter, Marie, aged 19 months. The body was brought to Thibodaux on Monday and laid to rest in
St. Joseph Catholic cemetery.
A great deal of work has lately been effected upon the dwelling house of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Beraud, who
reside near Lafourche
Crossing. They have had their house enlarged, remodeled and repainted, a conspicuous and ornamental part of the structure
being a dormer window 20x40. Mr. Richard Webre, of Thibodaux, and his men did the carpenter work, and Mr. Louis Adams and his force of
painters, also of Thibodaux, are doing the painting and the paper hanging. The work is drawing to completion.
