Ernest Altemus was married in 1880, to Miss Celeste Beck, a daughter of Lemuel J. and Z. (Marionnaux) Beck. Three children were born of this union, one of whom is deceased; Lemuel and Ernest are the names of those living. The parents of Mr. Altemus both died in New Jersey.
