Entered active duty as a 2nd Lt on 6 Aug 60 after completing ROTC at Southwestern Louisiana Institute at Lafayette. Served for thirty years in various stateside and overseas assignments. Retired 31 July 1990 with the rank of full colonel (0-6). Resided in Plaquemine from birth (Jun 1938) until reporting to active duty. Now resides in Southlake TX with Unni his wife of forty years. They have three sons, Steven, Lars and Nils.
