This is by no means a complete list.  Over the years as plantations changed hands, names changed.  If you know of, or are connected with, a plantation of any sort in Lafourche Parish, please send the information to Jim or Jana Webre , for inclusion here.  Please be sure to include your email address if this is a plantation associated with your family, so that others researching that name can contact you., and make sure you note that it is Lafourche Parish.  In addition, please feel free to include a plantation history, if you like.

If you are associated with a Lafourche Parish plantation that owned slaves and you have access to information from the records on your plantation, please submit your information to be included in a database we are compiling for families who had ancestors who were slaves.  This information is of great historical benefit to us all.
