Directions:
East on Highway 38 toward Kentwood, La. Turn left (north) at Johnny
Alford's house (?), travel about 3 1/2 miles; at Felker's house (?) turn
left on gravel road and go about 3/4 mile. Road dead ends; stop about 1/8
mile from white house and walk the dim road for about 300 yards. Cemetery
immediately on right, with fence and levee around plot, in poor condition.
Large cemetery; guide recommended.
Transcribed by Edyce C. Davis
and Audrey C. Blades, May 1975. Later additions by Charles and Polly
Bridges and Inez B. Tate. The later notes report that the cemetery had
been cleaned and fenced, markers appeared whitewashed, and a flagpole with
a Confederate flag had been erected as a tribute to a Confederate veteran
buried here.
