Court Records

The links on the left are to the court records. I do not have copies of these records, just the abstracts. You would need to contact the courthouse, should you wish to get copies.

For Terrebonne Parish Court House Civil Records (cite source and ask for price quotation for copies):  Terrebonne Parish Clerk of Court, 301 Goode St., Houma, LA 70360-4513
Genealogical Materials at the Terrebonne Parish Courthouse
The staff will make copies for you.
Please remember that the cost for these copies is quite a bit more than a do-it-yourself machine.
MARRIAGE RECORDS / SUCCESSIONS
The marriage records are located in the basement of the courthouse. There are indices available to assist you in finding what you need. The successions are also located downstairs (in a separate room).

CONVEYANCES / OTHER RECORDS
The official conveyances and other records are located on the first floor of the courthouse. After entering the front door, take a right into the records office. Walk to the desk and take a left and you will walk into the main records area. You are free to look up records on your own. Most of the various types of records are located here. However, you will find marriage records, successions, criminal records, etc. downstairs in the basement.
